What qualifies as SMBTech?
To qualify for the SMBTech 50, a company must sell its product or solution to SMB customers. SMB customers are defined as businesses that have less than 1,000 employees and/or less than $1M in annual revenue. If a company services the SMB community, please nominate them here.
I want to nominate a SMBTech company. What happens next?
Nominate: Nominations for SMBTech 50 will open on Tuesday, January 24 and close on Monday, February 13.
Vote: GGV will collect and validate the nominations against our eligibility requirements. 30+ VCs—with investment history in SMBTech—will vote for the top 50 companies.
Notify: GGV will notify the 2023 cohort of SMBTech 50 companies of the honor in mid-March and invite them to a private celebration at Nasdaq in NYC.
Celebrate: 2023 SMBTech 50 honorees will celebrate at a private reception at Nasdaq alongside fellow honorees, the VC voting committee, and the GGV investment team.
My company/portfolio company was a 2022 SMBTech 50 honoree. Should I nominate the company?
Congrats again to the 2022 SMBTech 50 honorees! All 2022 SMBTech 50 honorees will be automatically nominated for the 2023 list. Please note: Multiple nominations does not guarantee a company will be featured on the 2023 list. The VC voting committee will make the final decision on the 2023 list. We recommend 2022 honorees nominate other SMBTech companies they believe should be considered for the honor.
